Grenache / Syrah / Cinsault / Carignan

VINES

At 300 metres altitude in clay-rich soils, and about 30 years old.

VINIFICATION & AGEING

Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats, then aged on fine lees in concrete vats.

TASTING NOTES

Cherry red and highly approachable, this wine has perfect balance. A seductive cuvée at any hour, packed with ripe fruit underlaid by supple rounded tannins. Best enjoyed at room temperature or slightly cooler.

Red Domaine La Florane

White

VARIETIES

Marsanne / Grenache Blanc / Roussanne / Viognier / Bourboulenc / Clairette / Piquepoul.

VINES

At 350 metres altitude in a pebble and soil mixture. About 30 years old, and sheltered by woods to the east, thus protected from the intense sun!

VINIFICATION & AGEING

Grape pressing and pomace removal are done cold. Alcoholic fermentation and ageing in concrete vats on fine lees.

TASTING NOTES

A wine of appealing simplicity, with a fresh discreet nose. On the palate: fresh fruity notes. Highly vivacious, and a mazingly long on the finish.

White Domaine La Florane

Rosé

VARIETIES

Cinsault, Grenache & Syrah.

VINES

At 300 metres altitude in clay-rich soils, and about 30 years old.

VINIFICATION & AGEING

The grapes are picked at night for freshness, then pressed pneumatically. The juices then ferment in concrete vats, before ageing on fine lees in the same vats to acquire a fuller body.

TASTING NOTES

This pale pink rosé reveals generous, heady, glycerol-laced notes of redcurrant; a lively, supple and pure finish; and sucrosity as well.
