Syrah / Grenache
VINES
North-West-facing and overlooking our parcel of olive trees, at 400 metres altitude.
VINIFICATION
The crop is partly destemmed and crushed, then gravity-fed into vats.
AGEING
Half is aged in a small concrete vat; and half in demi-muid barrels. The wine decides for how long; 15 months is the average.
TASTING NOTES
Exceptional soils yield a masculine, complex character. A deep ruby colour, and peppery concentrated flavours in a delightfully rounded style. Bursting with fruit and moreishly fat and full-bodied, yet fresh on the finish.
